Want to write a ballade a song with no meaning, a senseless song to dance to. Dancing alone I choose, though I wouldn’t want a song that would touch me like you do. Useless emotions, words like “I miss you”, I'll pack them all into the rhyme. Let me get through this with my heart still intact and not losing all track of time. A song like your laughter, a moving disaster, was no way for me to defend. Now I'm caught in this web trying to see my jailer, trying harder not to pretend. I had a wall built around me, it was meant to protect me, I didn’t want you to know who I am. The barricade was useless you crushed my defenses with an effortless move of your hand.
Chorus: So I'm made to remember the sound of your laughter and the feel of your skin against mine. I must tell you now of vulgar love and feel that I'm way out of line.
So let’s pretend to be just friends, and maybe the difference won’t show. But you don’t hide well this private hell, and I don’t want this pain to grow. I miss your long arms and all of your charms just squeezing my fears away. But in this condition you must follow your mission, there is no way for you to stay.
Chorus: So I'm made to remember the sound of your laughter and the feel of your skin against mine. I must tell you now of vulgar love and feel that I'm way out of line.
I Pray for the balls to say to hell with it all, should worse come to worst no one died. I said I wasn’t afraid of this bed that you made, but its useless we both know I lied. Its useless. We both know I lied.
