Before I’ll Give In

Should I be scared, how do you all
fight the thoughts about death
The feeling of emptiness in our hearts
do we exist to be or go on to a higher place
Or a lower and not so loved, we can call it hell

When I die will the emptiness eat me like alive
Will there be a tunnel of light like a sign
To guide the way to something greater than the mind
I want some answers fill me in before I’ll die

Who’s to say how we choose the way we want to go
Maybe even possible to reborn in different shapes
it’s all a question mark printed in my head
I have to confess my sins before I’ll give in
