Too Tired to Wink

by Deichkind

I got a lot of people
Telling me I smell like I'm dead.
Apparently they cannot see
That I'm already walking 'round without a head.
I got a problem
With the object of the ongoing games.
Set thyself upon the shelf
And drag your shell through the day.
Look at all the stars.
We've come so far.
Even if we don't know where we are.
It's gotta be somewhere great.
Or am I just too tired to wink.
I've seen a thousand towns
Without an ounce of hot irony.
Leaves me begging for aesthetics
Please offend someone straight in front of me.
I'm stuffing brains.
I'm stuffing brain cells everyday
Smearing the club my love brought to refrain
Look at all the stars.
We've come so far.
And if we don't know where we are
Its gotta be somewhere great
Man, I don't even know what you're sayin
But I can't wait for more of this to come my way
Cuz you take what you get and you try not to think.
Or am I just too tired to wink?
I swore a cyclops for a week with heart tech in the clink
If ever he would battle and I thought it was a wink
But the world is flushed with a manaculular mush
And dingbats I despise to find Im not thinking is mentally blinking
But never quite clinging to rise
